Professor Jocelyn Stacey (Allard School of Law) is accepting applications for 1 part-time graduate research assistant (300 hours) for the summer of 2025 (May-August). The successful candidate will be providing research support for the design of a new graduate law course for international students on climate disaster law and justice.
The position is open to graduate students in law, public policy or related discipline. The ideal student will have an interest in working on a range of law and governance issues related to disasters around the world, will have strong research and writing skills, and the ability to work independently. Training in law or a related discipline in a country that is affected by significant disasters is an asset, though not required. Experience conducting research in a field relevant to disaster law is an asset, though not required.

The successful candidate(s) will be paid at the applicable standard Allard Law masters or PhD student rate, and must be eligible to accept a Work Learn appointment.
