Climate Conversations: Compounding Hazards
February 26 - March 14, 2025
Join a two-part Climate Conversations series on compound hazards and extreme weather, hosted by the Disaster Resilience Research Network and the Climate Solutions Research Collective. Experts will discuss the increasing risks of climate-related disasters like heatwaves, floods, and wildfires, with a focus on how multiple hazards combine to amplify impacts. The first session will be hybrid (Vancouver & Zoom), while the second will be in-person in Kelowna.
